Get creative and connect with your inner artist at my “Beginners Linocutting Art Workshop”, that will be an in-depth step by step 3-hour block printing workshop in Singapore.

Learn this popular printmaking technique used by artists such as Picasso and Matisse. I will share the basics and tips of carving and printing during this slow and relaxing 3-hour block printing workshop where you can draw or trace your own designs or motifs.

Workshop Programme & Learning Objectives:

  • Have fun illustrating your chosen topics/ subjects and turn them into one-of-a-kind rubber stamps

  • Learn how to draw or transfer the images on to the rubber blocks

  • Learn the basics of Linocutting art technique; how to carve safely and effectively

  • Practise on rubber blocks after seeing my step-by-step demo and tips

  • Printing with traditional brayer roller method - using screen printing ink and fabric ink

  • Printing using ink pads too

  • Print on paper and fabric

  • Private classes are also available upon request. Min 2 pax to start. Suitable for 10 and above.

Carlyn Law is an artist and educator who is well-versed in watercolour, gouache, acrylic, and linocutting/ blockprinting. She teaches workshops at various venues and festivals to engage one in creative thinking and pleasure.
