Creatheme Kids Camp - March 2021 school holidays in Singapore

For ONE DAY ONLY, JannaMamaDrama and Eat to Draw are collaborating on this “Creatheme Kids Camp” on 16 March Tuesday for the March 2021 school holidays! Centred on the tale of ‘Jack & The Beanstalk’, this fun day camp focuses on theatre performance and visual arts for kids age 8 to 12.

Begin with a storytelling session and drama workshop by Janna of @JannaMamaDrama, followed by creative art play and outdoor gardening with Carlyn of @EatToDraw who will teach the kids to paint a pot to plant a seedling and create a Mosaic bean artwork with some magic beans! Then the camp will end with the kids’ very own mini theatre performance! A full day of fun creative experience awaits you in Pasir Ris! For registration, click on this link.

Date: 16 March 2021 Tuesday

Time: 12pm to 5pm (5 hours)

Venue: Pasir Ris Drive 6 (home studios)

Camp fee: $110 / person, includes:

  • Drama workshop with staged group performance

  • Creative art workshops

  • Outdoor gardening in nature

  • Kids bring home a painted pot with seedling and a 2D Mosaic bean artwork (kit is worth $35)

  • Fruits and beverages

Limited to 8 kids. Parents drop off kids at 11.50am and pick up at 5pm.

Janna Hussain is a primary school teacher and a trained drama educator from NTU. She has written scripts and directed her students in several youth theatre platforms. She has also acted, worked, and volunteered with local theatre companies and conducted drama workshops for teachers and students. She is passionate in drama education and bringing the joy of learning through play.

About @EatToDraw

Carlyn Law is a Singaporean artist who is well versed in various techniques such as watercolours, gouache, and blockprinting. She believes art is important for self-expression, creativity, and well-being, and loves connecting with people over art. She teaches a variety of adults and kids workshops at venues such as APICS.
